Hello Everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I am happy to say that I am feeling better from earlier this week. The antibiotics are definitely settling in, and I took the entire day off to relax and watch movies. My friend thought I needed a movie education or “moviacation” from Pitch Perfect. (We ended up watching The Shawshank Redemption, which is an incredible movie and I am sad that I haven’t watched it sooner.) Hence, the inspiration for writing this OOTD post.
Side note: Since I am away at school now, you will not be seeing the same background of my old room at home. So, what you see if part of my dorm at college.
Let’s get started!
- I have been looking for a denim button-down top for the last three years, and I finally stumbled across this top at GAP a week before I left for school. Needless to say, I fell in love with it from the start. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a purchase that I made where there was a sale, but I don’t think that $29.99 for the shirt was too expensive. Normally, I would always search until a good deal came along, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a good-quality top that I knew I would love. Overall, I am beyond happy with the top because it is extremely comfortable and I love that I can throw it over leggings and dress down for the day, or dress it up with a skirt.
- You know when you find the perfect brand of clothing that you love? Well for leggings, I am OBSESSED with the Vera Wang brand leggings from Kohl’s. They were on sale last winter for $15, and I wear them constantly during fall and winter. They are perfectly for layering clothes and are extremely comfortable. If you ever get to Khol’s, I would highly recommend buying the brand; you will not be disappointed by them. I promise!
- You all have seen them before, so I won’t waste my time with the long paragraph describing how fantastic these shoes are from Target. But, I will mention that if you have yet to purchase them, PLEASE go do so. You will never regret it. I pinky promise (Trust me, I take a pinky promise seriously. You have my word.)
I hope you all enjoyed today’s outfit of the day post on my movie-day Saturday. I am happy that I had a movie education on the Shawshank Redemption. I must say, it cracks in my top three of my all-time favorite movies. If you were wondering, my favorites are: Good Will Hunting, The Shawshank Redemption and Saving Private Ryan.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend, and, as always, I will talk to you all soon. Bye!
