February Favorites

GetFileAttachmentHello everyone and happy Saturday! I can’t believe it’s the weekend already and I cannot believe that it is March 1st. Now we are moving into the spring months, which makes me super happy because I am sick of winter and I am pumped for warmer weather.

I have not done a monthly favorites post in a very long time and I was excited to sit down and have one for you guys.

Also, Make sure to leave a comment telling me what products you have been loving this month, especially if you have any liquid eyeliner suggestions!

The first product I have been loving this month is the Bath & Body Works aromatherapy stress relief eucalyptus tea body lotion, which you can purchase here for $13.  I love how calming this particular scent is and how the lotion feels luscious on my skin. It’s the best lotions I have used throughout the last few months.

Everyone and their mother has been loving the Naked 3 palette, which you can buy here at Sephora for $52. This palette has been amazing for my eye color specifically, and I love how unique this set of colors are in comparison to the Naked palette and Naked 2 palette. My most-worn shades are Buzz, Trick, Nooner and Mugshot. If you use this palette, leave a comment telling me what are your favorite shades from the Naked 3 palette.

The next favorite I have is a blush by Elizabeth Arden, which you can purchase here for $26. This is the Beautiful Color Radiance blush in the color Romantic Rose. I love this neutral based, pink color for spring because it’s soft but gives gorgeous color to my cheeks.

My favorite eyeliners have been the CoverGirl line blast 24 hour eyeliner in the shade 800, enduring black and the Elizabeth Arden bold eye pencil in the color platinum glow. I use the platinum glow on my water line to brighten my eyes and the liquid liner for a cat-eye effect. Both paired together go perfectly for my day-to-day makeup.

I’m a little late to join this bandwagon, but I am OBSESSED with the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion, which you can buy at Sephora for $12 at this link here. Out of all the primers I have used, this is by far the best one that lasts all-day long and doesn’t crease my eyeshadow during the day.

Also from Sephora is the Stila color correcting cream, which has been amazing for my skin. You can purchase this formula from Sephora for $44 here.I use the shade light 02. This is a very light-weight formula, but still helps to even out your skin and hide imperfections. I don’t wear regular foundation often because it’s too heavy for my taste, so this is a great alternative.

Next is my lip duo that I have been using all month, which is the Maybelline Color Whisper in the color Pink Possibilities ($4.99 at Target) and the Buxom lip cream in Berry Blast ($19 at Sephora). I love this combination together!

Finally, I re-fell in love with my Polo Ralph Lauren Pony Pink #2. I consider this to be my signature scent. It’s a light, crisp scent that’s not to fruity-based or floral-based. If you love simple perfumes, I would recommend this, which you can buy at Macy’s for $70 here.

I hope you all enjoyed my blog post on my monthly favorites. Make sure to leave a comment telling me your favorites for the month. Enjoy the rest of your day and as always, I will talk to you all soon.

  1. I’ve been meaning to try the Maybelline Colour Whisper balm – how hydrating and pigmented would you say they are compared to similar products from other brands? And that blush colour looks gorgeous!

    • They are incredibly hydrating and they are lightly pigmented, but you can build up the color. I prefer a light lip color for a natural look. But, I love how the sheer colors look gorgeous on different people.

  2. I use the same Polo fragrance, and I love it. We had a beauty sale at the magazine where I work, and I managed to pick up a bottle for R50 ($5), because it had been used in a shoot and couldn’t be sold. AMAZING!
