I cannot believe that summer is behind us as we move into the beginning of a new season. Although I am excited for pumpkin spice lattes and cozy sweaters, I will miss summer. Summer 2014, thank you for incredible adventures and memories to last a lifetime.
For future “monthly favorites” posts, I will pick my top five favorite products for that month. I think this will keep these posts short and sweet. So after a wonderful summer, here are my August favorites:
Lancôme Maquicomplet concealer: I recently made the switch to a higher-end concealer, and I couldn’t be happier. I realized that a more expensive product would help reduce the puffiness and imperfections under my eyes. After a month, I definitely notice a difference with this product. Click here to purchase this for $30.50.
Estēe Lauder high intensity lip lacquer (color-peach glass): For $25, you can purchase this lip gloss that will last for months! I love how pigmented this gloss is and it smells like cookie dough. I don’t know what could be better than a lip gloss that smells like baked goods.
Revlon color stay liquid liner: I have been struggling to find the perfect liquid eyeliner for years. After many failed shopping trips and recommendations, I finally found one that lasts all day and draws a perfect line on my lids. Purchase for $8.99 at your local drugstore.
Calvin Klein lipstick (color 120-dollface): I have never been a fan of nude lipsticks. Every shade that I’ve tried has made me look awkward. However, this lipstick is the first nude that looks incredible on me. Not to mention it’s affordable ($16) and lasts all-day long.
Estēe Lauder shadow paint (chained): I am obsessed with this neutral-colored paint. I love how a $24 product can last for several months and still give great results. It doesn’t melt off your face, so it’s great for warmer weather. I recommend using as a base for your eyeshadow, or if you’re in a hurry, swipe a few strokes for minimal color.
